What role does sport play in environmental education?
Sport conveys values and can play a role in raising awareness and changing behaviours in a marine environment. For example, water sports can teach young people the importance of protecting the oceans and its natural resources and give a better understanding of our ecosystem. By integrating environmental awareness into sports programs, people can contribute to the planet’s health.

APRIL 8, 2024: Academic workshop – How ocean literacy and environmental awareness can be promoted in youth through sport?

During the event, we will learn how municipalities, universities, research centers, NGOs and diving schools are taking the lead in promoting ocean awareness within sport activities.
